As waves sweep in and recede, a long exposure transforms the movement into soft, fluid trails leading the eye through the pier’s geometric symmetry toward the horizon. The weathered pilings stand in quiet contrast to the sea’s motion, uniting strength and stillness in a single frame.
Shot just after sunset, the fading light lent subtle color to the water and sky while the slow shutter captured the tide’s graceful retreat. The alignment was precise—centered beneath the pier, camera low, timing each exposure to the perfect rhythm of the waves. The result is a tranquil study of repetition, motion, and natural harmony.
