Frequently Asked Questions
How do I place an order
Simply visit the galleries, choose the print you like and click it to be taken to the ordering page. You will be presented with all options for printing and framing there. If you are looking for a custom size or printing option, or have any questions about the process, please contact me and I'm glad to help.
What printing and framing options do you offer?
I primarily offer museum-quality acrylic and metal prints in a variety of sizes for my fine art prints. I also offer acrylic prints that are beautifully framed with hand-made Italian wood frames with linen liners from Roma Moulding. This page describes all of our framing options. All framing and printing options are of the utmost quality to ensure that you receive the most stunning prints possible. Visit any of the print options in my galleries to see all the options.
Which framing options are best for me and my space?
This is a very personal choice and depends heavily on your environment and preferences. I do have a few articles in my blog that will guide you, and our prints and framing page that discusses all the options, including pros and cons of each.
What sizes of prints do you offer?
I offer prints ranging from 12x18" to 48x72" with many sizes in between. These prints are available for immediate purchase on the site. Check my galleries to choose your favorite. I do offer larger or custom sizes (up to 120" wide) on request. Please contact me and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
Can you show me what the artwork will look like on my wall?
Yes, I'm happy to send you a digital mockup so you can visualize how the art will look on your walls. In order to do this, please contact me with the following information:
- A clear, well-lit photo of your wall
- The dimensions of your wall
- The name of the print along with the size and finish you are considering
I'll do my best to get you this mockup within approximately 1-2 business days (often much sooner).
Do you offer custom framing options?
Yes, I can accommodate custom frame requests. Most frame and liner options from ROMA Moulding can be accommodated. Please contact me with details on what you're looking for and I'll do my best to assist.
Are your prints signed and numbered?
Every limited edition print I create is digitally signed, numbered to 50, and comes with a hand-signed matching certificate of authenticity for added provenance. I keep detailed records of each sale, including a copy of the digital file used to produce the piece. If your artwork is ever lost or damaged due to a fire or other disaster, I can provide a replacement at cost.
Do the larger prints come blurry or pixelated?
No, every image in my collection is carefully chosen for its artistic and technical quality. Each print is made from a 100 megapixel high-resolution image, produced at 300dpi in the size you order. I personally oversee the entire process, using advanced techniques to enhance resolution and detail, and work with the finest master printers to ensure the highest quality result.
Are there watermarks on the prints?
No. I display a digital signature on images published online, but these will not appear on your finished prints. They will be digitally signed and numbered.
How are the prints secured to the wall?
Unframed acrylic and metal prints come ready to hang with a float mount system (french cleat or z-bar) included. I always suggest professional installation, but most prints are generally easy to hang with the help of a friend or family member.
How do I properly light my artwork?
While individual lighting for the artwork is not required, you'll be astonished at the remarkable effect good lighting can have on the prints I produce. With proper lighting, acrylic and metal artwork appears to be glowing or backlit. I would encourage you to read this blog article about how to properly light your artwork. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me for suggestions on how to best light my artwork.
