Photographed near Leavenworth after a morning of steady rain, this image reflects the stillness that follows a storm. The subdued light enhanced every hue—from the rich ochres of the canyon floor to the emerald tones in the riverside brush. Standing along the bank, I waited for the fog to lift just enough to reveal the vibrant trees beneath, capturing a fleeting moment of balance between clarity and mystery.
