Rainbow’s Kiss captures a moment of fleeting beauty above Washington’s Tumwater Canyon, where rain and sunlight met to reveal a radiant arc over the Wenatchee River. Taken near Leavenworth in late autumn, the image balances storm and serenity — warm light spilling across gold and crimson trees beneath mist-wrapped mountains.
As the storm cleared, a rainbow emerged through drifting clouds, illuminating the canyon in soft color and contrast. The cool tones of the evergreens and the shimmer of the river below brought harmony to the fleeting scene, a perfect intersection of motion and stillness.
