Where the City Meets the Bay was taken from Pier 14 as twilight blended the last daylight with the first city lights. Warm tones from the skyline reflected across the quiet surface of the bay, while the pier’s railings framed a straight path into the heart of the city.
The balance between natural and artificial light lasted only a few minutes—a brief harmony between sky, water, and architecture.
