Video Journal – Unboxing a Lumachrome TruLife Acrylic Print

There’s something pretty special about seeing one of your photographs turned into a finished fine-art print — especially when it’s produced on Lumachrome® TruLife® Acrylic, which is pretty much the gold standard of print quality. Even though I’ve been photographing for years, opening a print like this still feels like Christmas morning.

This piece is When the Mountains Blush, a moment from my recently Colorado fall colors shoot where the mountains lit up in soft pink light right before sunset. I’ve stared at this photo hundreds of times on my computer, but seeing it behind TruLife® acrylic gives it a depth and glow that screens just can’t match.
